Sizes in the Hong Kong residential market are usually quoted as the gross dimensions, measured in square feet (sf). R&V saleable (net) area, given in square meters is available upon request, but requires a search for which a fee is payable.
Rental prices are quoted per calendar month, and are the current approximate asking rentals, exclusive of management fees, government rates and utility charges. The management fees vary greatly according to the amenities, services and facilities offered; Government Rates are linked to the current rental value.
Rentals are negotiable to a varying degree dependant on prevailing market conditions and the whims of the Landlords. The majority of units will come with airconditioners, cookers and fridges, and additional electrical appliances, light fittings, curtains and some furnishings can usually be negotiated for additional rental, if required.
